If you are installing an Inverter in the South Australia you may be required to appoint a relevant agent to ensure that your inverter can be remotely disconnected from the network if required, find out more information here . If using a Wi-Fi capable model of Delta RPI inverter range, you can appoint Delta Electronics Australia as your Authorized Agent
To appoint Delta Electronics Australia as your relevant agent, the following steps must be completed,
- Upon commissioning the installer must
- Have selected the relevant grid code and Successfully Connected the inverter to the MyDeltaSolar cloud monitoring portal . A training video to complete this is available here
- Update The inverter to the latest communication firmware. FW update training video is available here. Acceptable COMM FW’s for remote disconnect are v2.07 or higher, FW versions such as 88.98 or 99.21 connected to the cloud are also compliant (please check FW with support team for compliance). However please keep in mind currently a minimum of v2.08 is required for AS4777.2:2020, this is crucial for new installations nationally. See HERE for more info on AS4777.2:2020 compliance.
- Fill out the Written Authorization form
